Wet-Lab Research
We at ResearchX are honored to have the opportunity to participate in wet-lab research sessions in collaboration with a local community college. These member-exclusive events provide students with a chance to explore scientific research beyond the classroom.
About the Program
Following a blended curriculum of wet-lab sessions and lectures with professors, ResearchX members will get the opportunity to attend monthly research meetings at Lone Star College’s Biotechnology Department.
Here, students will get to explore topics that are niche to the biotechnology field and explore their application in industry positions. With aims to matriculate into the program at Lone Star College, students will be provided with a new edge into STEM and learn about concepts that are traditionally taught in universities!
Session Details
Starting in September, sessions will follow a once-a-month schedule until May. Each meeting at Lone Star will be approximately 1-1.5 hours and will follow the time after a regular ResearchX meeting. Flexibility will be accounted for, as members will be updated about scheduling changes during club meetings.
